8月12日、Katikoで113人のHIV陽性患者に、HOSFAにて109人に石鹸を配布しました。ARV薬の配布があったため、配布人数が多くなっています。
絶対的貧困層、特にHIV陽性の子どもたち、孤児や非常に貧しい家庭の間で増え続ける栄養失調が原因であるので、我々Childline Ugandaは食料補完として用いられるSOYA MILK PROCESSING PLANT（Soya Milk：豆乳）のようなものを考えだすことが重要だと思う。同日、HOSFAにて109の人々にミルクを配布した。

On the 12th we Managed to give soap to 113 HIV positive clients at Katiko fish landing site and 109 Hope sharing family (HOSFA) where also clients turned up in a big number since it was a day of getting ARVs drugs.
As childline Uganda due to ever increasing malnutrition among the vulnerable individuals most especially the HIV positive children, orphans and very poor households living in absolute poverty, we so it important to come up with an initiative of SOYA MILK PROCESSING PLANT which can help us to supplement their diet and on the same day we gave out milk to 109 Clients at HOSFA (see the attached photos).

CHALLENGES
Although we managed to have some work done but we faced a number of challenges like;
•Ever increasing number of vulnerable people in need of soap
•Lack of transport means because Katiko is situated at 7 km away from the office
•Many people liked the soya milk and yet we produce at a small scale
•We would like to produce soya milk in a powder form but we lack knowledge and expertise on how to do it
•We would also wish to produce branded soya milk but we lack the machines for branding

CONCLUSION
All clients were extremely happy and still expecting more from us.
